When the energy of our consciousness is out of our control - the mind is agitated. We are being emotional. The solution is to detach from the inner storms, stand back and observe the hurricane pass. Detached observation withdraws the energy which your emotions require to sustain themselves. When you watch your own anger, it dies. If you don't detach from it, and observe it ...it will be your master. Today is the day to practice positive, detached observation, and each emotion-filled moment is the opportunity. This is 'real' work. The work of one who is a master of their own consciousness. Are you a master or a slave?

Right when I need them as well, Rainbow.

If I get upset or angry, which is once in a blue moon, I come to Rainbow's moments to calm myself.

Guru you are right,yes Rainbow with some sadness around my household lately I honestly open Poker Crush and read your post which some I have read quite a few times when I need to remember Very Happy

Hi Rainbow1,
I've read most, if not all of your Rainbow Moment's.They're the 1st thing's I noticed when I joined. I'm a sucker for meaningful phrases, aphorism's, pronoun's, proverb's, adverb's and super-duper single adjective's with a double salko and a triple toe-loop. (Only kidding).
I have enjoyed reading them all. I enjoy them because they all have meaning and truth, and you know that they are right and good.
Keep them coming.

ALW ~ If Rainbow, whose Moments I love and appreciate so much and actually use to keep my life in balance, doesn't find them all in one place, she certainly finds them all within one philosophy and she also possesses a remarkable talent for organization of thoughts!!!!!

Either way, I once PMed our Guru about them, telling him how helpful they were to me, and he replied (I'm sure he doesn't mind me telling) that he thinks they fit right in with the entire ambience of the Poker-Crush site, so unique in its approach to gambling forums and portals with a difference that sets us on a high plateau above or at least heading that way.

Too bad the US gov't doesn't realize gambling sites like us exist!
