And along the same subject line as the one-liner I posted earlier, here are:

Top Nine ways to know if your kid is playing poker.

(not written by me - I couldn't find the author actually - but it's from a blog I found on lasvegasvegas.com, and it's called "The 9's List". There's a whole slew of lists like this one there; I thought this one was funniest:)

Top Nine ways to know your kid is playing poker!

9. Refers to you as dead money.
8. Has become a star student in statistics.
7. Can shuffle two stacks of quarters into one tall stack.
6. Insist you move away from the dining table if your cell phone rings.
5. Insists on carrying around thirty thousand in cash.
4. Tips you when you offer a soft drink.
3. If you make two moves to the mashed potatoes they call you for a string serve.
2. Continually bores you with bad beat stories.
1. Drives an $85 thousand Mercedes and he's only nine years old!

That's a pretty good one haven't heard that one before, wish I could say I do half of those to my parents but usually they just freak out if they know I'm playing!

Thanks bigphat42 - maybe you need to start teaching THEM how to play then!

I just remembered there was one on that list that I guess I didn't get - doesn't mean a thing to me, but I bet it does to someone else, and maybe someone else could explain it to the rest of us...?

It's Reason #3.

String serve??

Sounds more like tennis to me!

(but served with mashed potatoes)

So yeah, if anyone understands that one, feel free to post an explanation and share it with us!
