Good TGIF day, my friends!

I've been remembering some things I've heard that stayed with me and trying also to remember who said them. I'm glad I haven't reached my memory peak yet.

"The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it. We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails. Some days there won't be a song in your heart; sing anyway. You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.

Soon I will remember who said each of the the thoughts above and let you know. But sometimes it is nice to take different great thoughts and weave them together. I do it as if I were painting a picture, using different colors to create a whole image.

Life is so much more abundant if we take the time to while away a few hours this way every week. It will make you do better everything you do.

Most all of this, of course, is only my own opinion.

Buddy, you always come thru for me in a pinch! and don't ever think it is not appreciated!

By the time I got back to this page, I had remembered where I read only two of those thoughts I couldn't forget. And it's a real dishonor I do those who originally thought them by not remembering their names as well as their words. It makes me ashamed, like if I had won the WSOP last year, someone would remember it was an American guy, but no one would remember my name.

I think this taught me a lesson. If I am impressed enough with something someone says, I think from now on I will remember to be just as impressed with that PERSON! At least, you can be sure I will try!

By the way, I am VERY impressed that you remembered or discovered them so quickly! Great thinking!!!!!!!

I don't think I would EVER have remembered Ziggy's "daddy" or Ms. Calloway. And I just a few moments ago remembered Marcus Aurelius.

Funny, I don't remember my memory being so bad.

ABOUT THE TATOOS:

Geno and I are working on ways to make "Baby Got-My-Poker-Face-On" our official logo. Searching copyright texts.

ALSO.........before the middle of next month, I hope to get a bunch of you members organized as our official Poker-Crush Forum Poker Team! I am making arrangements with leagues as I write this.
