My BEST YET SURPRISE for MY PCers!

My dearest Poker Crushers!

Come gather around me and under the wings of this old Father Rooster, my guilded fledglings, and let ME tell YOU a story for a change. This is such a good story that I am so excited I can hardly type!

This story is my surprise Christmas present to my heart's greatest present-day treasures, my good-hearted, gentle-souled, hard-studying, dedicated-practicing, and so very loyal PCers, who also happen to be my fantastic friends, one and all. I hope you like it.

Once upon a time, which happens to be right now, I asked my PCers to gather 'round me and let me lead you down an imaginary poker-chip-engraved winding road, leading to the very near future. And at the start of that glittering road, my story now begins.

Picture in your mind the word scene I now describe.

The scene begins with me smiling and starting to talk softly, as you get all comfy and cozy, your eyes beginning to sparkle as a hush falls over us with your always-enchanting attentiveness.

Now picture this as we move in our imaginations a little closer to the future: We are all, each in our own homes, eagerly and a bit nervously watching our clocks as the time ticks down to our first Online Forum Challenge. We have become a real PC Poker Team and our first freeroll tournament against players from other poker forums is drawing near.

We have about another hour to wait, so we start talking about how important it is to be comfortable and the chat turns to what we all are wearing to play so we will be comfortable and feeling good.

Now, PCers, this is an inter-active story, so I will be asking you to do some things during the story. The first thing I ask you all do, while I have a cigarette and get another cup of coffee, is this(by the way, I will wait for you right here) and I will continue the story when you get back from going and taking a look at a link I give you and you click on right now. (The Guru lights up a smoke, leans back in his easy chair, and stretches out his long legs, while the Pcers go the web page, and the Guru's beautiful date this night brings him a hot and sweet cup of coffee, and a hot and sweet and wonderful kiss.)

Time passing, cigarette getting shorter, Guru's happiness getting longer, girlfriend warmly smiling with pride.

Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.

PCers start coming back in groups of twos and threes and fours, all talking at once until again I start the story telling.

When I finish my story, you can all say whatever you want and I will pay attention to every word you type below this posty story of mine!

Okay. While you were gone, time must have passed very quickly and carried us farther down the road to the future, BECAUSE, sweethearts of my heart, THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am almost finished with the details of scheduling our first two tournies, both of them freerolls with money to be won. The Poker Crushers are where it's happening! MAYBE, but not positive, even before the new year rolls in! AT LAST WE WILL HAVE OUR TEAM. Our official team logo will be Baby GOT MY POKER FACE ON! Thank you, Mojo, for the logo idea!

It won't be very long until poker sites will have us playing with web cams......and our logo shirts will distract our opponents so much and crack them up with laughter until it will be impossible for them to play serious poker! That, my scholars, is called "increasing your edge over your opponents" ! It is done all the time in brick and mortar poker rooms, some players even dressing in clown outfits! I swear to you that is true. Even at the World Series of Poker last year, some of the players looked like it was Halloween! Why? A good poker player increases his/her edge in any and every possible way!

Now, only one of each shirt has been manufactured so far BECAUSE I am letting it be your decision what color the letters should be and what color the shirts should be! Give me your ideas below this post of mine, and we will show the world REAL democracy with majority ruling!!!

Also, start telling your friends and relatives you want MONEY for Christmas to buy your Poker Team uniforms!

I will not be playing with you (I will be your coach), but if you don't object, I will and you can ask OrangeCrush and RoyalCrush, who is Royalblush here at our site, and maybe even Geno, to play on our team. I also would like for us to try to talk OrangeCrush into being our cheerleader......and maybe Geno too!

BUT MY STORY IS NOT OVER YET!

So you see, PCers, while you have been working on our membership drive, I have been busy too. ALL OF US working for Poker Crush, which means all of us working for one another! Just as we always have......from the beginning!

Now on with the story.

Imagine again. Picture this: All PCers getting their pictures taken in their team shirts and using them as their avatars!!!! NEVER BEFORE ON ANY SITE ON THE INTERNET HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THAT! So we would have ourselves another FIRST, a trend Geno started when he was the first to give away cash every month to members for contests. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Tell me below and SAVE YOUR PENNIES. Who knows how far we will go.......maybe even into some big money tournaments with small buy-ins, pretty soon!

Well, my golden fledglings, it is growing late and I am growing tired. I know I have left out a bunch of stuff, but I will tell you or ask you as it comes to me! BECAUSE.......THIS story will TRULY be A NEVER-ENDING STORY!!!!!

You have work to do in posting your opinions and thoughts and ideas for colors for mass production. And you have poker-practicing to do!

Ohhhhhhhhh they are sooooooooooo coool!!! I LOVE IT!
So my first question is... 1. Will they be available in all colors for everyday use...
2. I would assume as a team shirt we all want one color as I think you are asking Smile

and I vote for PC Crush forum colors RED/ORANGE and YELLOW!

Can you at least HINT at where these freerolls might be? I want to make sure I can use their software ahead of time Smile

P.S. Santa I want a new computer for Christmas LOL

I would love to see the PC color scheme used.....the maroon and Yellow and red that are so prominent at Poker Crush!! Great outfits Guru!!

I agree on PC colors but my computer shows red,blue and black.

Love the maroon and gold idea....it's the same colors as the Golden Gophers you know.....and, yes, we need the Guru to teach us all a lesson in poker....and when you knock us out, Guru, tell us what we did wrong!

I have one question. All the sample pictures of people wearing them.... the picture is on the back and not the front???

Now how we going to psych other players if the picture is on the back? LOL

I want it on the front! (there is always one in the crowd Razz

Hi Poker Crushers!

Please see my next bunch of info about our Poker Crush shirts and about our poker team freerolls against other poker forum members in the next topic I post, which will be called, "About Our PC shirts and Freerolls.

Why am I making another thread instead of just keeping everything in this one? Well, I will, as always, be bluntly honest with you: This thread MUST have been overlooked by a lot of our members! So if I give it a new name, maybe everyone will see it!

NOW. The question becomes: Why do I think that?

Simple answer: I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT ONLY 6 PCers posted a reply about this!!!!!!!!!! ........IF everyone read it!

What does that mean? That is a question that concerns me greatly!

Is it that most of you do NOT want us to have a poker team after all?

Is it that YOU just don't to play poker representing Poker Crush?

Is it that you do not like the shirts enough to buy one or more of them?

I just don't know what to think!

If it is because you don't like the shirts, the shirts can be changed! It is my fault that you misunderstood about the shirts, if you did. I should have told you that we can change anything about the shirts!

I should also have told you that as long as it has our name and our logo on it, we DO NOT all have to have the same color shirts or the same placement of the logo ON the shirts OR the same placement of the letters OR the same style of the letters ! Each PCer can order whichever kinds of shirt he/she wants!

AND.......you do not have to play poker or be on our team to have a shirt!!!!!!! Even your friends and family members can have them. You just have to be the one who orders for them!

They would make great Christmas gifts (in my opinion).

And NO, Valeria! The logo and our forum name are NOT on the back of the shirt! EXCEPT for the one for maternity. If some of our gals get or are pregnant, they probably would NOT prefer everything on the front!

And ALW....it is very easy to change your computer screen, for Poker Crush, to our tradiional colors!

Now, I will admit the models for the shirts (mannequins probably, or just the illustrator's imagination) do not have very well-shaped bodies, but believe me, the shirts are much better looking in person.......and they are of EXCELLENT quality.

But I do not want to go on and on here, so I will have my morning coffee and then I will make a new post in its own thread.

In the meantime, please tell me below why you think so few PCers responded to THIS post!!!

Also, PLEASE tell me if you are willing to buy the shirts!

AND if you want to play online poker, freerolls only at first, and sign up to play as a POKER CRUSHER ..... which would mean that our site gets some kind of reward, maybe money for more
contests! and also means YOU get to keep the money you win! It does NOT go into some kind of fund for the site!

Please clue me in below, PCers! I HATE being clueless to whatever is going on!

Bencause there is no point in me pursuing this any farther if we have only 6 members who are interested. The poker sites would not even give us the money for a freeroll if we cannot tell them that several of us are trying out their sites with the freeroll and some of us might decide we like it enough to make a deposit and play there once in a while.

So, my PC flock, please post beneath my post here any answers you can come up with.....or even guess at.

Otherwise, I think my mind may just be blown!

Poker Guru I have to agree that I like the colors of the forum and I think its an awesome idea to have a poker team and shirts with our logo on it.ps(wasnt sure if I posted in last one but read every reply as they were typed in).Now enjoy your coffee and I hope to see more post. Very Happy

yes we are the maniacs that come by 6 or 20 times a day... give it a week at least for those that can't sign in as often... and maybe everyone is doing last minute Christmas shopping Smile
