Hi Poker Team!
On Sundays, from now all the way until the end of April, at 2:00 PM EST and also at 5:00 PM EST, at IronDuke Poker, the TFPC tournaments will have $1 and $2 buy-in events.
The password for all of these small buy-ins at Ironduke is: tpfc
Minimum number of players needed for each game to start is 10.
The top 9 players in points will be added to a $100 freeroll on April 27th, the finals. A total of 16 of these $1 and $2 buy-ins are available to you to qualify you for the freeroll, but it is a 2-month-long competition and lots of the March Sundays are already passed. However, you still have a chance to earn points for that big freeroll April 27th, but quite honestly, it is not the best opportunity we have coming up!
So I thought I would bring it to your attention first and that will make the long list of other challenges we face look even better! LMBO
By the way, the finals will also have, at the end of April, a bounty game with a $50 bounty on the head of Dukepro, for the player that knocks him out of the game!
For those of you willing to take on this enormous challenge, even getting started later than some other teams who started the first of March, I wish you the VERY best of thinking.....because you will need it! (I promise to always be totally honest with you about your chances in ANY challenge, altho that should never stop you because we are considering only one man's opinion here, who has been wrong, even if delightfully so, on an embarrassing number of occasions!)
In other posts of mine today, many more scheduled games will be laid out for you.
MY ADVICE: Get a special calendar book, used for nothing else, to keep track of all these games we have coming up as a team. I WILL!
And, incidently, TEAM, do not be disappointed or too hard on yourselves if you do not play your best in our first full month (April) of being an official TPFC Team. I WILL NOT BE disappointed in you for that because after all, this is something completely new and even super humans have to have an adjustment period in cases like this!
I hope that helps take some of the pressure off.....because pressure is the LAST thing you need as we begin this adventure. For this first full month coming up, I suggest that you just relax and have fun playing as you get accustomed to no longer being "the new team". Then we will have even more of a shock factor edge the following month! tehee
