Some Things to Ponder

Hello again, my dear PCers!

Have you ever had some extra time on your hands and you just sat down to rest.....but while sitting there, your mind began to wander and you found yourself wondering about some things in Life?

Well, that happened to me on my last pro player trip. (I finally remembered what I started to write about in a previous post where I admitted forgetting.) LOL!

In between games, in my hotel room, I could find nothing good on television and they had no internet connection for my laptop. So I just sat down and started wondering.

For example, here are some of the things I pondered. Have you ever?

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze one of those dangly things and drink whatever comes out." ?

And who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there? I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta its butt." ?

And why does the doctor leave the room while you get undressed, when he's going to look under the sheet anyway?

And why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

And do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?

Thank goodness it was soon time to get back for my next round of poker!

Hi , PokerGuru

You have those thoughts while no TV or Internet was available....that's almost normal, but my silly husband ( who has a degree from prestige's collage) asks me those kind of question on daily basics .... Some time I feel like I married a child ( he is in fact 10 years younger then me ).
He is very smart , but his mind wonders all the time around question, what if.... people would have long tails? , for example , how would they say Hi to each other ?, with tail to tail Hi Five ? ETC.....
What a waste of time....or maybe not...

That is very funny poker Guru as I think our family must really waste time as kaska put it lol. We always sit ariund and ask each other, things like, I wonder what made people think their bodies are nude and thought to cloth them, or I wonder how wolves and coyotes came around to now be shitzus, rotts ect. Yes , I like to make my brain work and ponder alot about diffrent things. It keeps my mind active and so much better then drama and gossip of the world now adays. Very Happy

when i get in those modes the one question that pops into my head is what if life had never come about what if there was absolutely nothing ever in exsistance that question bothers me.im so glad we all do exsist!!
