Hello, my PCers!

I think the time has come when you all would benefit greatly by sharing the knowledge you have (and maybe even have notes on) about the opponents you find across the table from you quite frequently.

Since we are a team and since we do all want to help one another against all the other poker players out there, it is time now to start doing something the pro players do.......that is, discussing particular players, as to whether they are threats or not.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing this kind of thing.

I will start out by giving you an exact example of what I mean.

Then I hope many of you will follow up in this thread by posting similar info that you have learned from your own experiences. All of you should gain a lot from this.

I know many of you play at Pit Bull Poker. So for the last couple days, I have been playing there under different silly names at the low limit tables, just to gather some of the kind of info you now need to start sharing -- but only with other PCers (or good friends and/or family, of course).

Sooooooo........here is some of what I have learned there.

Well, wait a minute. I am getting ahead of myself. Let me tell you first that I do not want to be sitting at a table playing with any of you! So if you use some name that I am not aware of, please let me know so if you are there, I can move on instead of sitting down. You can let me know by either post or PM.

Now, I will give you an example of the kind of info you should start sharing in this thread........and takng notes on to have right beside you when you are playing online.

At Pit Bull, there is a player who goes by the name of donner22 and he is very good. So watch out for this one and avoid playing at his table if you can.

Also at Pit Bull, there is 88tweeter88 who you DO want to play against. He is a little fish and always playing scared. So you can make some money from him and he seems to not have any money problems so you don't have to worry about taking some of it!

Okay. That is just a couple examples.

Can you see how much help this can be to you?

I'm sure you've noticed that you keep seeing certain players over and over. So share with one another what you know about them, for the good of our entire group. Pros do this all the time and it is an accepted and ethical part of poker.

With this thread, you have moved up one more step on the fourth year level!

So let's hear it!

Your Guru

Very good, Mirrors!

I can see already that this thread is going to be a great help to all of you.

So I will throw out another.

There is a guy at Pit Bull, goes by the name of callmebaby. Well, he would scare a lot of people out of their money, but don't let him scare you out of a cent. He is nothing more than an overly aggressive bluffer! Call or raise his big bet and he will fold like a paper tiger!
