(ok I am having never-ending stories withdrawals so help me out here)
Charlie, a very smart and fuzzy bear, was unhappy and bored. He decided to explore the world and have some great adventures.
He packed up his suitcase, took a last look at his den, and headed out the door.
After he had been walking for hours he became very thirsty. He stopped at a stream for some fresh cool water, when he saw up ahead...Bower50 - 30.01.2009, 22:32 Post subject:

deck of cards. Now Charlie, being an intelligent bear, was an excellent poker player. He started to think maybe he could play for his supper. One of those tasy fish hanging outside on the cabin porch.
But, how to approach a man without scaring him or putting his own life in danger? His stomach growled loudly and the man turned toward the sound coming from the open window.

the man continued as he saw Charlie looking hungrily at the fish. "I will bet all my fish on the porch if you put up your fur in the pot. Winner takes all!"
The man laughed as he thought how nice a bear rug would be in front of his rustic fireplace.
Charlie sat on his haunches and thought hard about this as his stomach growled loudy. He really had nothing else to offer and those fish would be very handy indeed on his travels.

Charlie sat on his haunches and watched this one sided conversaton with the man.
"Maybe the man must be a little crazy in the head." Charlie thought. "I could just slip quietly out the door and if one of those fish snag on my suitcase as I leave, it won't be a big loss."
Charlie shifted his weight getting ready to make a run for it when ...

Then the vision vanished as fast as it came. Charlie felt the weight lift off his shoulders.
Giving himself a little shake he squared his shoulders and nose stuck high marched toward Bowers cabin and the biggest game of his life.

royalblush - 26.02.2009, 02:24 Post subject: Hi poker buddies and Guru ~
I just wanted to let you all know how much I enjoyed reading this story!
I swear you all are getting better and better at it, and this one is definitely publishable! Just think how much the kids of poker players, as well as poker players themselves, would love it!
Kudos to all the writers!
RCPokerGuru - 01.03.2009, 21:29 Post subject: Hello, my talented PCers,
Altho this story is too good to end here - without an ending, really, it is March 1st and so I must call it the end, since you have had 2 months.
The story was sooooo good, but the contributors were sooooo few! I can't understand why. All of you can write well!
In the past, almost every member has added to the stories and we all had a lot of fun. Also, they gained us good new members, because new people came from far and near to read the stories they had heard were so good!
Poker Crushers, sometimes you confuse the daylights out of this old Guru of yours!!!! If ANYBODY, hopefully many EVERYbodies, will be kind enough to post here, letting me know why you did not take part this time, I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT!
Well, on with the announcement of the winner...........
How I wish I could declare all the writers winners .... and I do .... but our budget only allows for one paid winner. (Let's start posting advertisements for the poker sites so visitors will click on them and deposit - then we will have loads of money for contests!) (If you can't post banners with such posts, don't worry! I will add them for you gladly!)
Anyway ....... the blind draw box shot out this winner's name:
Char1984 ......... for $30 cash
Congratulations, Char!!!! Make that money multiply!
Special congratulations and appreciation to writers Valeria, Bower, ojisplayin, Allight, and Crzynana. Great job!!!
