" A leading US lawyer has warned there could be further online gaming arrests in the US.
John Baughman, partner and gambling expert at New York legal firm Paul Weiss, said that in the wake of the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act poker sites would now also be in the firing line. "
Since this happened, I could only play poker in european poker sites like french sites and Swedish sites. Now I cant even deposit with neteller, so I have to register credit cards from europe.
Now I''m hearing that they are following the same legislation in france, which to me is very strange, because it is clear that this move is a reaction to the U.S legislation. now, france has been opposing the U.S on almost every issue, so why do they follow this hypocritical law?? And more important: will this legislation happen in other european countries? I just want to find 1 poker room to get good seniority, because so many have turned me down because I am American.

Ultimately, the games that you see in the casinos are the ones that make the most money for the casinos. For a game to make money the players have to like it. So these games you mention are what players find the most fun. It also helps that they are owned by big gaming companies that have the resources to get them out there in the first place
