Woohoo First Place!

Haven't played in a tourney in awhile so was kind of nervous with a $5.00 buy-in.

I said a little "prayer" when the tourney started.... I said... Poker Guru be with me and make me remember all you taught me.

And I kicked butt!! hehe I went to first place to last place to winning the tournament.

Oh and I want to add.... 3 people did re-buys and I didn't rebuy once.

Good thinking Val.I finally got first last night but it was the 1000 qualifier so no cash but I was proud as I didnt let them bite at my chips like normal at the finals Laughing

WTG! Char! goood! Don't let them bite your chips. And even if they do don't do like many... get low and give up and throw it away.

I was in first place for awhile then went waaaaaay down to like $1579 while others had $8000. I didn't give in nor did I play like an idiot and gave it my all... and the results speak for themselves. I made a comeback in 3 hands to first place again!

It was nice since I haven't played for awhile. Boosted my courage back up Smile

This informal way of hiding a small lesson in almost every post and pacing the lessons in a way that places no pressure on you but makes it seem natural to think a certain way until each lesson is internalized and made a part of you,,,,,,,,,that way, my darlin' great scholar after all, you could not forget what you learn if you wanted to!!!!!!!!!! Of course you remembered!!!

Now all of a sudden.......as I go back and read your post again, all is silent. I have nothing to say. If I did, I couldn't. The lump in my throat would prevent it. I suddenly want to cry like a little boy. I say a little prayer too. I say, "God, my Creator, how she has honored me. How she honors me still."

I feel like my little girl went away to think awhile...........and she came back a woman. Now she knows she is a poker gentlewoman. Now she knows so MUCH more. She IS more. My little girl is all grown up now. "Thank you, God, for guiding me so I could guide her."

I can't talk any more right now.

Maybe that is why they all ran away LOL
