Yes, Pcers, just as your kids and grandkids are getting prepared for the new school year, it is also time for us to turn back to our own PC Poker Classes.
At least it is time to start thinking about it!
Remember, you will need 2 notebooks, one for lesson notes, and another pocket-size one to keep track of every penny lost or won. Also in the little one, you can jot down notes to remember about some of the players you keep finding at your table in online sites. Things like whether they are bluffers or only play good hands, etc.
Beginners, there will be a special lesson for you coming real soon, but you should also keep up with EVERY lesson, because they are written for both advanced and beginning poker scholars.
I just sat down earlier tonight to compose my first lesson of this, our fourth year. Altho they are for everyone, I guess you advanced ones could consider this your senior year coming up! And your first lesson of it!
Just to give you some idea of where we are heading, I am going to copy and paste below just the beginning of your first Senior Lesson. I hope you will enjoy it!
It will be out in a few days and this is how it starts:
Year 4: POKER LESSON One

The Creation of a Champion: Part 1

Hello, my poker scholars, the sweethearts of my heart!
As I sit down to begin composing this lesson, I am filled with excitement to the level of having tingles running up and down my spine!
This is the place we have been working toward for three years of one basic lesson after another -- and there will be more to come. There will ALWAYS be more to come!
If you are a beginner, just starting your studies of poker with us, don't think for one moment that this lesson is not for you! It IS! This part of your poker education can come at any point in its course. It is one of the personal secrets that allow me to teach at all levels at the same time. That secret is timing!
Looking back, you are well aware that many of the topics I have covered in the past three years would never be found in any How-To book of poker. I find it amazing that those are the very topics you seem to be relying on most heavily, as so many of you are climbing very fast to that pinnacle where only the most successful players can be found hanging out. The change in your daily vocabulary has been gradual and remarkable, but now you are comfortable hanging out together because you understand one another's language.
This new topic is another one of those you will not find anywhere else. Furthermore, it just may be the most important topic of all!
