I am playing in $3+.10 buyin blinds up to 300. I have AA just call. Flop is 834. I get an all in call from chick with 7-2off. I make the call. Turn is a 5. River is a 6. Bam str. I'm out she says nice 7-2 off another player says dumb is more like it. Man I am getting sick of this chit kind of chasing online poker. And to start with 7-2off is the worst off hand to me anyway and I would not call with it to start with anyone agree with me here.CrazyHorse

it sounds like u have come accross a member of the 72os forum, anytime they get 72os they go all in, normally b4 the flop, I know how much it hurts to be on the wrong side when they hit, if it is any consolation, they dont seem to last too long in mtt |

dont mean for this to sound mean but....
its a 3 dollar tourny, everyone and the grandma will play, and no body but diehards probally like your self will care, best strategy find a site with smaller fields, if you are playing at a large one, maybe pokerstars or party poker, try playing pokerroom, they have alot of people, but its more ring game based, or try playing sit and goes, you wont have to deal with those people, pokerstars offers a 180 person sit and go, and 45 people too, thats the way to go |

I hear you totally Crazy. I got pretty fed up with the level of chasers at a large poker site (they like to be on tv alot...lol). I have no problems loosing to a better hand but with so many bad players out there and even worse, those who call on anything period, it just drives you nuts!
Chasing hands with the hope that you may hit your flush or stg or top pr is just plain bad poker and in the end will cause you to lose far more dollars than the few you may gain by playing like that.
I see no point calling a large bet on a chase and the only way to put players like that out of commission is to bet large enough to make them fold versus chase. If they call and lose, even better..
