Hi PCers!

We had a really busy weekend of tournaments!

Now, so far today, there has not been much Monday activity going on here at the forum.

Is everybody taking a day off to rest at the same time? LOL!

I have been fighting a MAJOR chest cold for over a week now, with no sign of it letting up anytime soon. I am tired of being tired!!! LOL

Valeria, dear girl, you take care of that bad cold! One like that can turn into pneumonia so quickly! Thera-flu powder in an envelope to make tea is great for it!

Don't worry about anything else except taking care of yourself until you are completely well. These things are becoming more and more dangerous as our environment keeps deteriorating. And pneumonia is a secondary disease after the cold has weakened you!

awww ty Guru. I know I have had pneumonia before. Once walked to the hospital with it and about passed out in the middle of the road. Some nice guy came out and grabbed me and walked me into the hospital.

I have had bronchitis and was in the hospital for that once. Had me in one of those big steam tents over the bed. That was when I was younger.

So my lungs have had a go around. They had to collapse one once to give me surgery. Wonder I am still breathing LOL

Hope you feel better soon Val.Yes Guru it was a quiet day,played a coupla S&Gs,won $4.80.We got 30 centimeters of snow.Guess that got me a little down.LOL!!!

cut an onion in half and leave both halves (Cut side up ) on a plate by your bed. This is an old wives tale remedy that works for some strange reason. I know you will breathe easier at night. The vapors off the onion will keep your broncial tubes open.

I pray for your rapid recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes all. They are appreciated and make me feel special. I am still having bad coughing fits I can't stop but I think I am improving. All your well wishes must work miracles!!

MsFilly, 2 days is not enough time for you to recover from the flu. Please take it very easy for a few more days. You know, I hope, that the flu weakens your immune system and leaves it an easy victim for a bacterial infection to move in....something like klepsiella pneumonia.

Please be very careful. This is a bad time of year to be weakened because of all the strangers everywhere shopping and they have all kinds of germs, you know. Protect yourself for good health as your first priority. Can't do anything else if sick.

Glad to see you back on your computer tho!!!!.

Always the "mother hen" thank you Guru no worries I will heed your advice and take it easy but with my busy schedule with the grandkids I miss so much all the time so when I have time to catch up I try to do so thanks again for the sage advice
