Hello My Wonderful Poker Crushers!

Our 23rd Contest for August is simple. Why do you "Put On A Poker Face?"

RULES

1. All members making a post will be placed into a random drawing, where we will be giving away 1 x $30 prize

2. The winner(s) must have at least 3,000 pc points in order to claim a cash prize. If the selected winner(s) has less then 3,000 pc points then they will receive 3,000 pc points in lieu of the $30 prize.

3. You will need to advise us which payment method you would like us to use to pay you. To do this, please go to the section above and click on "My Payment Method" and follow the instructions. You only need to do this once (unless you later wish or need to change your payment method option). If you have any questions, please send OrangeCrush or Crushadmin a private message.

4. This contest will end on August 24, 2009 and we will give away 1 x $30 prizes.

A poker face never shows any emotion, never expresses either good or bad feelings. No one can learn – by looking at your face – if your cards are good or bad.

I put on a poker face so my opponent doesn't have a clue what my hand is I could have pocket aces or Jack seven off suit and they will never know LOL

sometimes I do and sometimes I don't - I often will pretend to be barely controlling my excitement to bluff my way out of a bad hand!

So the other players can't tell if you have a good or bad hand. Then acourse when you bluff you need that face to poker itself out.

It's kind of like being a perfect lier LOL If you have a bad hand and are bluffing you really don't want the other player to know. If you have a killer hand and are soaking them up for more money you definately don't want them to know.

i put on a poker face as it looks better than my own face lol....if you put on a poker face and show no emotion when your cards are getting dealt then your opponents can not tell how good a hand you are holding and whethher you are bluffing or not

I tend to use a "poker face for alot of reasons, like when I don't want someone to know how good (or may bad) my hand in cards is, or when I have a surprise planned and don't want the person to know why I need them to 'walk to the store' for me, or when I have a gift for someone that I know they really want and tell them it's just a cheap little thing I saw and thought they'd like.

a poker face is something you do to not show any emotion so people will not know you hand you have!!!
