Hello my Special Ones!
I have now set the date for our first OPEN LIVE CHAT!
Mark your new Poker Calendars again!
OUR FIRST CHAT WILL BE:
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 8:00 PM EST
To get to the chat room, simply click on "Live Chat" at the top of any page in our forum.
Suggestion: Before time for the first chat, maybe you should go to the chat room at any time and set your options for text colors and such.
HERE IS HOW IT IS PLANNED TO WORK:
If you will notice on the "Memberlist" page, there is now a new column for all members marked as CHAT CHIPS. I requested this of Geno and he almost immediately changed into his coding pants and had it done by the very next day. THANK YOU, GENO!
Here is how you win CHAT CHIPS, which will be reset at the end of each month:
Before each Live Chat, I will draw 2 or 3 poker cards and seal each in a seperate envelope. Sometime during the Chat, or maybe sometimes twice, you will each choose a poker card, one card out of any of the 52 card deck. Duplicates WILL be allowed. SUGGESTION: I think this idea would make it more fun for you and make it seem more realistic and really "live" as if we were together in person: Have your own deck of poker cards and actually DRAW your card each time!
For our purposes in our Open Live Chats, Hearts will rank highest, followed by Spades, then Diamonds, and lowest ranked will be Clubs. (I think this fits our "GROUP PERSONALITY!)
After everyone has given me their card, I will draw one of my sealed envelopes and reveal its card. Whoever matches that card, or comes the closest, will earn 1 CHAT CHIP. If there are ties, the winners will each receive the CHAT CHIP. If somebody picks the exact card in both number and suit, that person will receive 5 CHAT CHIPS! This way, evertbody will have a chance to catch up on CHAT CHIPS and maybe even win for the month at the last minute and no one should ever give up!
At the end of each month, I will total everybody's CHAT CHIPS and whoever has the most WILL WIN THAT MONTH's GRAND CHAT PRIZE of a $50 cash prize!
You must redeem 5000 PC points to collect your cash prize and also have an online account at a site Crush uses to pay winners. Also, you may choose to receive an equal value of Poker Crush merchandise from our store as soon as it is officially open (any day now!), instead of the cash. Your merchandise will be of at least $50 value and will be chosen by you! (I may add here that all our merchandise is of the highest quality......no cheapies for Poker Crushers!)
At our Live Chats, any subject may be discussed. It does not have to be limited to poker topics.
Every PC member is invited automatically to our chats!
I hope I have explained it all in a way you can understand. But if there are questions, by all means ASK! Remember: at Poker Crush, the only dumb question is the one that goes unasked!

Hi Slotmom and Bower!
Bower, to answer your question, someone will win a grand prize of $50 each month in Chat by drawing cards. If more than one member should draw the same number, that number will be valued differently according to its suit.......just in case we should change the contest for the $50 to something different in the future. Good thinking, my man!
