ONLINE-ONLY POKER PRO Lesson Part One

Well, PC stars, I've promised this lesson and have discovered it may take more than one. But we have to start somewhere, so let me first say: Yes! It is possible!

You are, I'm sure , expecting the good AND the bad about it, since you have come to know me pretty well. So, first, a little of the bad.

No benefits like insurance, sick leave, overtime pay, etc., so you have to set aside a little bit of every day's pay to cover those things when you need them. And speaking of every day's pay, there will be some days when there is none. But as long as you end each day's play with some earned money in your hand 65% of the time or more, and as long as you can live on approximately what is your hand on any average day, you can make it. The good part about that is that the longer you play, the more you will end up with on those winning days.....just like getting raises on a 9 to 5 job as you get better at it with practice.

That brings us to a good: No boss telling you when you have to come and go and no set work schedule. The bad with that should be common knowledge: People in business for themselves....and it will be a business....always work longer hours and put in more effort when they work! The good: The rewards are worth it!

Those rewards can give you a very elegant lifestyle or they can make you live from big win to big win....just like from paycheck to paycheck. Which style of life you have depends on one thing that is more important than the others: Before you quit your day job, you MUST have enough money stuck away somewhere to see you through the bad times until you get the rhythmn of it and can play without a desperate need to win on any particular day. So if you have never had the incentive or discipline before to start and maintain a savings account, no matter how little you have to start with, now you have your incentive!

Let's say you really don't have a cent in savings. That cannot stop you from becoming an online poker pro with no other job or income! It CANNOT stop you....it can only delay your starting day. There is even something good about that: a reason to look forward to better days ahead! The length of time it takes for any journey is not its dominant feature; the first step taken is. And you can take that first step TODAY! The minute you first put a coin away in a special place for a special reason you never had before, YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY! From there on in, you are a changed person! You have just filled every proud stride you step from now on with something every living soul needs to be happy: a magnificent purpose to your life, a goal that nothing is worth distracting you from, a path you have laid down before you that is always right there straight ahead! Remember, the time it takes doesn't matter. What matters is that you have taken the first step and are on your way! You have just changed; have just turned your life around, and are now a whole different you, a you whose shoulders are visibly a little squarer and whose smile is easier to break through whatever your life troubles may be!

How about just thinking about that and adjusting to it real well....and finding that first coin that you remove from place A to the more exalted place B..... for a couple of days? Just until I get my detailed instruction manual for you in better order and detail than it is now.

I WILL be back to start the REAL lesson in just a couple days! What you have to do in the meantime is adjust yourself, accomplish the attitude changes I have mentioned, be SURE it can happen, and be ready for taking notes next time!
