Hi PCers ~
Just in case we need to broaden our horizons about the great variety of poker sites out there and their differences, and in the hope this contest will help all members learn more about more.........that is the purpose of this contest.
After all, we are all creatures of habit and tend to stick to what we are accustomed to. But what if there is a site where you could be winning more with every visit than you are now at your favorite site so far? SO FAR are the key words.
You can learn about a poker site without depositing a single cent. Just sign up and play for free or with play money -- at least until you get to know them. A lot of good players recommend doing that with EVERY site before you put up your money.
Anyway, with that in mind, I created this contest.
Choose any poker site for which we have a banner, AS LONG AS NOBODY ELSE HAS CHOSEN IT BEFORE YOU. That way we will get a big variety of sites.
Then simply describe that site to the best of your ability. Be sure to include as much info about them as you can possibly find out. Just think how useful this info will be to your fellow members. Sharing info is always a winning way to win more!
I hope by reading one another's entries, you might find a new favorite site!
Rules the same as all other October contests. If you are not sure what they are, including the new rule this month, be sure to ask! I never mind explaining anything to anybody!
Winner, chosen by random draw of all who post good entries, will win a $30 cash prize!
Enjoy this contest and also learn from it! Most of all, ENJOY!
Your Guru, looking forward to reading your entries! |

Pitbull Poker offers $10 ND and has hourly $25 freerolls, mostly NL Hold 'Em, but a few limit Hold Em, Omaha and Stud freerolls mixed in.
Most freerolls have 5 to 600 entries, instead of other sites which pit you against 5 or 6 thousand or more.
Depositers get a free $20 with their first deposit and Pitbull has rake tables starting at 2/4 cents and up.
It uses flash software so no download is needed, although the flash can be lagging and sometimes glitchy so try it out free before risking your money. |

I will write about LANDSHARKS,as they have 2 -5 dollar freerolls and 1- 200 dollar freeroll daily and you can buy back at all of them which makes the 5 dollar one sometimes 8 or 9 dollars and pays the top 3.
i have never deposited but have been up to 11.00 or 12.00 dollars just from placing in the freerolls.
Also I believe this is new: they give a 200 percent deposit bonuses and a voucher to play a big freeroll that they have monthly.
Also you can use your player points in tourneys from 100 to 5000 payout.
And the best I find is that the freerolls have very few players (sometimes not enough to play which is minium of 20) so I find it very easy usually to hit the final 3 and the winning dollars. |

My choice is Poker Stars.
They are by far the largest and most popular poker site online.
They have a variety of depositing methods including credit card and prepaid cards. Sorry they don't have ecocard.
You can win your way to the WSOP there!
This year I believe it's 6 WSOP champions at the final table who earned their way there through PokerStars. There are Freerolls now playing where you can win part of their winnings.
Pokerstars has more variety of tournaments than any site. These include satellites, regional tournies, freerolls, and all levels of cash buyins. Their rake tables have the same available.
You earn loyalty points as you play for real and advance to different levels, thus obtaining invites to better tournies.
You can enter great tournaments or satellites for as little as 10 loyalty points.
Recently they changed their graphics. You have several different choices of themes for the rooms you play in. The colours are fantastic.
A big selling feature for our household is that they allow the 3 of us to play in the same tournie, which is great if PC ever has a tournie there.
I would definitely recommend PokerStars to anyone of any level.

I do most of my playing at Intertops Poker.
The software is great, as are the people you find there. Not too many bonuses, but they have lots of special tournies and such all the time.
My favorite is the Saturday Penny tourney. Entry is only a penny. The top 4 players of this tourney do not win money, I do not think, but it gets you a seat in the monthly $175K tourney.
Now that is a tourney I want in on. lol Check them out. They are great!

Trying is all I ask, Mirrors!
As long as you take time enough to try your very best!
P.S. Sometimes it helps to go back and re-read my post about the contest! |

I like Pitbull because they have hourly freerolls but alot of technical issues because it is flash. But the pros outweigh the cons.
I also like iron duke. |

Hi,
The first time I ever tried a Poker site was Golden Riviera Poker...
I played of course video poker as at that time I didn't know really what I was doing...(alot like now ) but support was very friendly and plus they had a few casino games which I managed to cash out over 600.00...
Golden Riviera Poker has great loyalty rewards and everything you need is right there and is self explanitory...
Good Luck,
sisters |

Thatis good to know, sisters!
You have managed to find a poker site I have not yet reviewed. So guess I had better get right over there in order to let all my members know my opinion of that site.
For those of you who are pretty new, I have already approved every site for which we carry a banner. That one escaped me.

Hello my Poker Crushers!
I sure wish more of you had entered this contest. Hope I didn't have it listed in a spot hard to find.
All you would have had to do is sign up as a free player only - in order to see everything on the site and then post, describng it. I had intended to have you post your review this month as an independent post for another contest, which would have helped everybody decide the best place for them to deposit, as well as adding asnother cash contest. But with so few entries, that is impossible now. I sure hope it wasn't the way I described it, but realize there could be many reasons for so few entries.
Anyway, the ones who entered did an excellent job and the winner's name who shot out of my fool-proof fairness box was:
---->---->---->---->----> Bower50 <----<----<----<----<----
Congratulations, Bower! You have won the $30 prize!
Thanks to all who did enter. Good work!
Your Guru
P.S. We really do need some (lots) of posts like this by themselves as regular posts to increase the income to our forum! |
