Can you be a PRO with online only?
Hi Gang. Its hard to decide what to tackle next. When I reach that point where I want to do
so much here that it overwhelms me and I don't know where to begin, I usually ask myself,
'What is your chief responsibility to these good people?'
That always gives me my working plan, because my primary concern is to help you become
the very best poker player you can possibly be.
I don't know how many of you live near brick and mortar casinos, and if you are not close or
not darn well off financially, the travel expenses can eat away your early profits when you
are first trying to become a pro player.
So the question arises: Since I do know you all have computers, can you make a decent
living by quitting your day job and playing only online poker as a pro?
Well, the answer might surprise you, but I tried 3 different experiments in this past year,
each lasting about 3 months long......and I can now tell you with certainty, "YES, YOU CAN!"
Naturally, there are many downfalls you must avoid and I will tell you what they all are.
Naturally also, there are certain guidelines you absolutely must follow and I will also tell
you what those are.
This won't sound very good, but I am not an angelic philanthropist, so let me come right out
with it here at the beginning of this topic: I am going to ask you, my guilded proteges, NOT
to divulge my personal methods to anyone who is not one of us. Any other pro that I know,
having discovered and proved what I have here in my online poker studies and experiments,
would not breathe a word to ANYONE about it, with maybe the exception of his/her spouse.
Honestly. And if somebody happened to learn about it, he or she would be branded as being
in the professional espionage business! No kidding. You know, big companies spend
fortunes fighting industrial espionage....and still it goes on.
A secret formula is a secret formula, no matter whether we are talking chemical
manufacturing or money manufacturing from playing online poker. And altho you already
know that I hold back nothing from my PC fledgelings, you are the ONLY ones I am totally
free in my talking with. The reason is simple. I am A TRUE GURU and it would be almost a
sin to keep anything from those who want to learn from me and will work together with me
as a group. But in order for them to succeed, which IS my business, they cannot just give
away any of our secret formulas to others against whom you may be playing at any time.
This is especially true of online formulas.
It doesn't make any sense to tell your opponents what you are going to do and how you are
going to do it, then find yourself at an online table with them! Which is more likely to
happen than you realize.
I, too, have certain online sites where mostly pros play.....and I would NEVER tell any other
player there ANYTHING about my game!
So that is why I am asking you for your word to keep the things I worked hard to learn and
test and test again and again among yourselves (ourselves at PC). If anyone finds that
objectionable, please let me know before I get too far into our online lessons. Okay? I
think that is fair.
Well, now that I have answered 2 questions here, I will go offline awhile and take out my
notebooks where I kept all my notes during the experiments. From them I will try to put
together in some kind of logical order everything you need to know to succeed at this. Then
I will come back online and type it out in sections to you as lessons. If I am thinking right,
that sounds reasonable to me.
OH......the 2 questions: 1 (yes, you can) and 2 (I know now what to do next).
Is that feeding two birds with one bag of seeds? LOL!
Later, gators! And after while, crocodiles!
Your trying hard Guru |

Our dear and dedicated Guru ~
What a big job you have and do here!
I would like to just repeat what ALW said in the post above.
You are more appreciated by your members than you probably realize, because many of us -- even those whose poker playing you have improved drastically -- get kinda lazy about expressing our gratitude to a pro player who devotes so much time to us ameteurs!
So you have no way of knowing your value to us.
I realize that without you as administrator, we would have no Poker Crush site!
By the way, I pledge my silence to "outsiders" about our new knowledge gained from you!
Your dedicated follower,

I ,as well, do hereby pledge my silence!!! I have gone into a few ring games lately and sat down with $80 and rather quickly found myself with $400 or more on several occasions. But I know I'm not yet ready for the "Big Step", and am anxiously awaiting our Guru's sage advice, which I will study carefully and execute to the best of my ability! |

My Mum told me a secret once, she said I was ' Her favourite Little Trumpybum,' and I've never told a single soul.
So you can rely on my discretion

My Poker Guru,
I look forward to this lesson with much anticipation as 'Online poker' is all I know.
I am yet to step foot in a casino, or even play poker against friend's.
Poker is growing rapidly in England as it is in many other countrie's.
But it hasn't yet replaced 3 card brag as our main gambling game,at least not among my circles.

PS.
If anyone would like to try 3 card brag for a change, there is a ring game you can play for free at Wingow's Poker.
In my opinion 3 card brag is not as exciting as Texas Hold'em, but nevertheless, it is still an excellent gambling game that is well worth trying.
This poker site also has in my opinion the best freeroll at this moment on the internet.
I hope it was ok to mention this.
