The year my sister, my mother, and my other sister all dressed up like valley girls and went to the mall in California when we were visiting my sister - it was when she was in remission from her leukemia at the time...it was one of our last Christmases and I am grateful that it had so much laughter in it! |

lol well it certainly was not this year as its been the worst xmas ever and i just feel like cracking up at the moment...but guess best xmases were the times when the kids believed in santa...the excitement in the days before as they waited for santa and their faces on xmas day when they saw santa had been were priceless...memories you will always remember and enjoy...sadly think the best xmases are gone forever now but such is life...just have to make best of what you have |

I think my best holiday memory was when everyone was at our home for the holiday a few years ago, my mother in law both of my husband's uncle's my adopted sister and her old man, and all of our neices and nephews. not to mention everyone who lives here. It's only happed once so far, but I hope it happens again while mt mother in law is still around. |

I guess I would say the favorite was the year I made a 4 poster bed on my dad's home made lathe and gave it to paw for Christmas.

My favorite Christmas memories was when I was a very young and got to spend Christmas as a whole family without complications (Mother, father, my other sister, my younger brother and myself). Things have changed when my parents have separated by the time I was 9 and losing my father on January of 2003. Christmas hasn't been the same since. |

Amongst my favourite memories are Chrissy's spent at my Nana's house in the country. Most of our relatives would be there. After lunch, the guys would go out bush and drag the dams for yabbies (freshwater crays) and when they returned we would cook them up and sit around in a circle outside with our stubbies of beer peeling and chatting, peeling and chatting........ Rule was that unless you helped peel them you were not allowed to eat them.
Very rustic, very natural, very loving Christmas times. |

just made a new one! I have somehow developed tonsilitis when mom and dad are visiting (of course) and mom made chicken soup and custard like when I was little...then we all giggled about all kinds of silly things for hours watching tv....I guess I am getting wooky on these meds but laughing times are the times I cherish! |

WTG to the winners! Enjoyed all the great stories that were told, too bad you all couldn't have won, but of course, I bet the PokerGuru would say, every member at Poker Crush are already winners! |
