I love to fish and I think the story that stands out in my mind the most is years ago my hubby and I went out on a charter boat for bottom fish.It was awesome but lots of waves and I figured I might get sea sick.We had just took off and the capt let us sit and watch the waves when all of a sudden we lookked and (DAle) hubby was sheet white.we asked if he was ok and he ran for the deck and chummed the whole day.I ended up thanks to his chumming bring up a 5 ft shark and he got laughed at for a long time.He now knows to take sea sick pills but it was an unforgetable fishing trip and very true lol.

My only fishing story is when I was a kid, me and my friend Danny wet fishing minnows. The hook we were using was meat for large fish, and when Danny flung the rod backwards the hook caught me in the eye. It didn't do any permanent damage , but Danny got in lots of trouble!! LOL

GONE FISHING.....
[align=left] I AM AN AVID "FISHERWOMAN". THERE SO MANY FISH TALES THAT I COULD TELL. BUT THE ONE THAT COMES TO MIND IS:

LAST YEAR, I WENT FISHING ON A "HEAD BOAT" OUT OF SHARK RIVER,NJ. WE WERE FISHING FOR BLUES OR FLUKE APPROX 13 MILES OUT IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. NO-ONE WAS GETTING ANY BITES. I WAS USING THE BAIT AVAILABLE TO YOU ON THE BOAT, BUT JUST TO BE DIFFERENT, I ALWAYS ADD MY OWN LURE, WHICH I REFER TO AS "MY SECRET WEAPON".

WELL, LET ME TELL YOU, MY SECRET WEAPON WORKED!!!I GOT A BITE ON MY LINE THAT JUST ABOUT YANKED ME OVER BOARD. THIS FISH TOOK ME AROUND THIS BOAT 2XS WHICH IS APPROX 80FT-100FT. ,GOING OVER AND UNDER EVERYONES LINES AND POLES. IT JUST SO HAPPENS I WAS THE ONLY WOMAN FISHING ON THIS BOAT(APPROX 45 PEOPLE) THE CAPTAIN OF THE BOAT MADE EVERYONE PULL UP LINES SO I COULD BRING IN THIS FISH. SEE THE CAPTAIN KNEW WHAT I HAD ON MY LINE DUE TO THE FACT HE WAS 2 DECKS ABOVE ME. AFTER 35 MIN OR SO I FINALLY BROUGHT THIS FISH CLOSE ENOUGH FOR IT TO BE NETTED.

I HAD CAUGHT A "FALSE ALBACORE" AKA TUNA, HE WEIGHED 52LBS. AND WAS THE MOST COLORFUL FISH ID EVER SAW. UNFORTUNATELY, I COULD NOT KEEP HIM, BUT, I DID WIN THE "POOL" FOR THE BIGGEST FISH. AMOUNT WON 133.00. Cool

Whoooohoooo Thank You everyone and Thank you Poker Crush's PokerGuru you made me cry but it also reminded me of some good times with my dad and I needed to be reminded that even though he's gone I have some fabulous memories of my woderful father and that made me smile thanks for that Smile
