Dear Top Scholars ALW and Mojo ,
First, ALW, thank you so much for your most gracious reply. I was sure we were merely our own victims of misunderstanding....and I am so glad that is true! Stumbled over my own words and fell, in my case.
I appreciate your compliments and confidence more than anyone could imagine.
I would also like to add that any teacher who doesn't learn an enormous amount from his studentts could not be, in my opinion, much of a teacher.
Mojo, so good to hear from you again! You are a perfect example of someone who doesn't say much, but when you do, it is well worth heeding!
I, as well as ALW, am very anxious to hear what you have to say on the topic of robots!
Loving care for you both, my friends,
Your Guru |

I TRIED AND TRIED AND TRIED TO BLUFF THEM ROBOTS
AND THEN
I FAILED I FAILED I FAILED AGAIN
It seems to me that them robots just know what u have in your hand and when u try and bluff they know and start bluffing you. Much easier to bluff the human lol
Thats been my experience with robots at the tables.
Good thinking at the tables everyone!! |

Dear Mojo,
I am intrigued! And I would bet others are as well.
You have touched on a subject about which I am fairly ignorant....not stupid, but ignorant. Ignorance can be cured.....stupidity cannot be.
Please help me out by being MY teacher!
How can we tell a robot from a real human? Dont be afraid to tell us which sites at which you have found robots. If you will let me know, without mentioning you, I will fire off an email to the manager.
Please help us out here, Mojo. This is important!
Thanking you in advance,
Your Guru |

Mojo I have wondered also in a couple sites I play if I also was playing robots...I have wandered around looking in some of the same rooms and see the same name in about 4 or 5 which this site only allows 3.I played against them out of curiosity and when you say nh they reply ty but if you strike conversation they dont speak back...They do seem to win every time and sometimes when you say something the little reply you do get dosent make sense. That is my exsperience of playing what I think are robots... |

The plot thickens, and my mind boggles at the thought of robots that can spot and execute a bluff, and who are capable of conversation with humans, albeit limited to answering yes or no.
It's not impossible. There are many kids toys in the shops today, that don't cost the Earth, and are capable of similar tasks.
Where do they come from?
Do people build there own?
Is there a shop where I can buy one, ahem, I mean, where they sell them? |

Well, hell, let's just ALL get one! ROFLMFBOOOOOOO!
The plot does indeed thicken, and your observations, Char, were uh, well, uh,.......fascinating!
I do NOT believe it is a widespread problem at all, BUT I want to know which poker site or sites would dare do such a thing!!!!! With proof, OFF POKER_CRUSH's approved list they go, without a single word of warning. I would not waste my breath uttering a single word to them again!
MOJO!!!!!!! Where arrrrrrrrrrre you??????????
Anybody else have any information? And let me warn you seriously: NO GUESSES or SUSPICIONS! Good evidence, qualifying as proof, is required before you make a post on this very serious topic! If I am going to toss a paying client out on his ear......well, there are legal ramifications.......and I want none of them coming back to haunt me!!!! I'm sure you understand me; you are all VERY intelligent people!
Anyone with good hard evidence of ANY wrongdoing, please PM me first, give me a chance to investigate thoroughly, and THEN we most definitely WILL take any warranted action! NOBODY gets by with pulling any funny business on my PCers!!!!!!!!!
Your very serious Guru |

Thank you poker Guru,
I had problems with a site once, it took me 2 wks & over 10 e-mails before they even replied.
When they finally did, it was a waste of time, I just couldn't seem to make myself understood.
I'd deposited a few hundred pounds into that account over a 3-4 month period.
I was relieved when I finally won some of it back.
Only to find myself locked out of the site and unable to get to my winnings.
I was so angry, that it took ages to get over it.
It wasn't just the money I'd lost, It was more so the feeling of being cheated, it stayed with me for quite a while
So it is really good to know that we have someone lke you to help us if we ever have problems.

My Poker Guru,
In my post above, I don't mean that I would have expected you to go and get my money back for me.
Only that I could have sought your advice, and of course the advice of my fellow members, which may have resolved the matter.
Anyway, thank you.
Alan |

ALW, for that kind of money, and knowing your character, I MIGHT HAVE JUST DAMN WELL GONE AFTER YOUR MONEY BACK........IN PERSON, NOT ONLINE!!!!!
I am so sorry! That had to have a terrible effect on ANYONE! And a lingering one!
But you got right back on that horse and are playing again! All goes to prove: You just cannot keep a good man down!
Your Guru |

Thank you sir,
Its great to know that if it happens again I can seek the advice of people who do care.
Another one of the many benefits of being a Poker Crusher.
