Carlos Mortenson is the first player to win both the WSOP Main Event(2001) and the WPT Championship Event(2007). He has also won another WSOP bracelet and another WPT title. Antonio Esfandiari is "The Magician". Mike Matusow is "The Mouth". Steve Zolotow is "The Bald Eagle".

Phil Laak got his nickname because of wearing his trademark hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses at the table, which make him look like the infamous Ted Kaczynski.
