IMPORTANT NOTICE - REGARDING ANTI-SPAM

Dear Poker-Crushers,

It is with sorrow that these idiots that like to spam us with inappropriate material make this necessary, but well just to let you know that a new anti-spamming filter has been created which runs automatically in the background and will remove and ban people automatically.

This is still in testing of course and to ensure we don't lose anything too much if things do go wrong, we have an increased number of backups happening so we can restore and try again if things go wrong with minimal loss to your recent posts/PMs and points being earned.

Of course there is the possibility of a minimal amount of loss and I'll have to say now that if that happens - all I can do is say 'sorry' in advance - although I'm pretty sure this will not happen Smile

I have been deleting smut posts and banning their posters at the rate of an average 2 to 3 every single day since July 15 when this attack started. I have removed and banned over 40 of them in the last 3 weeks!

And you say you had to try hard to find a staff member as they were "building up"???????

You make me look bad, girl!

There WAS one day that I had to go to the doctor and came back to find 3 posted.

But, in general, I have been guarding and throwing out 24 hours a day 7 days a week for a good while!

Did you know all that?

One member, Shawn, who helped me search for them, was always able to get me by PM in no more than 15 minutes when he found one before I did.

Did you ever try PMing me? I don't think so.

What think, what say, my good friend? Are you going to leave an implication hanging over me that I didn't do a good job handling them?

You must do a pretty good job Guru...CUZ' I am here checking in..<LOL about every 2-3 hours EVERYDAY...& I can honestly say.."I haven't seen even 1!!" I've never seen 1 here & only a few at CC. I always check each new post(s) since last visit...so Thank You GURU for doing a bang-up job WOW

i agree with all it is a great idea to have a sysrem in place but i have to say also our guru does work very hard to catch it before anyone is offened. i come and check things out alot and when i see it i pm guru and on a very timely manner they are gone. i do this not only for me but my mother my freinds ive made here and every lady or genleman that sits down and innocently looking for a site to have a fun game hits that one moronic post at our site and instead of joining turns to next site in line.
i love the crusher sites and as little time as ive been a memeber ive grown to think of all of you as freinds.
i thank guru rita rc and geno for keeping as good of track as they do with the morons that want to make every site a porn site

I need to reword my writing as I think it was taken wrongly by some,The filter is a good idea as I know poker Guru is so busy doing other things and Many other things, that spam control is much better then him wasting his time chasing down post that donot belong in here when he is always busy making us pcers happy and entertained and educated.Poker Guru you do a fabulous job and I am glad Geno got you some help so mabey you can enjoy each post other then worry what you may open lol and see... Laughing
