Well I am proud of myself. I must have learned something Poker Guru
I played 5 money tournies tonight and won 3 of them! I won the first one.. and the second one started sooner than I thought it would and I was in the lead on the first one so I had to bow out of that one.. I won the third one and flat out lost the 4th one... but the 5th one I won too!
So I am happy with 3 out of 5!! All these tournies I played on a free $10 from Dream Poker. All but 2 were $2 buyins and the other two were .75 cent buyins.. So they weren't big pots but hey the important thing is I played and I won and had a good time!
Most were limited play but 2 were no limit. Around 30 people on all tournies.
Do a little dance... make a little love... GET DOWN TONIGHT! LOL |

Poker-Crush scholar Valeria!
You are certainly doing more than just a little gettin' down with your recent poker playing everywhere you play! Your record is incredible and I hope you are keeping it accurate, detailed, and up-to-date. The money amounts are NOT what matters. How you played and how you placed at the end is what counts.
I am truly impressed. I am almost just as impressed with your attitude. If you keep practicing like this.....AND keep a good written record..... I may be able to find a sponsor for you soon who will be willing to pay for your entry fees in exchange for your endorsement of their product. There are several ways to endorse a product.....ranngeing all the way from wearing a shirt with their name on it to actually doing a speaking commercial for them.
When that time comes, you will have to do some serious thinking about whether you want to remain an ameteur or actually consider turning pro.
You can officially go pro by either of the following 2 wqays, to do it right:
1. A pro poker player (such as myself) can submit your practice record, or your actual record, and recommend you.
2. If your playing stands out enough to be noticed, you could receive an official invitation to bring your records and come to a designated city for a meeting and discussion of your record.
What I am telling you, Valeria, is that the time has come for you to get serious about your playing and plan your games strategically.
Let me know when that records notebook of yours -- that you learned how to keep way back in the first few poker lessons -- is up-to-date and legible and I may, with your permission of course, ask to see and review it.
Whatever you decide to do or not do......Valeria, you are a great asset to Poker-Crush.com and a great source of pride to
Your PokerGuru

Wow Poker Guru you humble me but I think you put much more confidence in my ability than I do!! I have been doing fairly well over the last few months but I still have a long way to go before I would consider myself any kind of pro. I do well on 10 people tournies or even 30 to 300 people but when you start putting me with 1500 to 3000 people I don't do as well at all so that means I still am not ready According to my stats I win about an average of 50% of the hands I play. Shouldn't that be closer to 80% or so to be considered anything near a pro? heheheh
I still find myself doing stupid moves when I KNOW better and have a lot of dicipline to improve on.
But I want to Thank you for all your help and your confidence in me!! That makes me feel I am doing something right!!
All I can do is keep improving.. the more practice I do the better I will be.
Thank you for all your kind words ... I feel honored!!! |

Once again, congratulations, Valeria!
Can't wait to have you playing on our team in our next tourney! (As soon as Orange Crush and/or I can arrange it).
You are a winner for sure and for real!
