Idea for fair Poker Tournies

I know its hard to get a seat for the PC tourneys and alot of people have not gotten to play simply because seats are full prior to game starting. As for Saturday's tourney and lack of cooperation it ended up cancelled well I have and idea that makes the seating at table fair and doesn't allow for situations like Saturday.

How about we instill a rule that players can enter the poker table room but no one is allow to take a seat until actual tournament time and if some one does go ahead and takes a seat than they are banned from next tourney and any win points or prize are null and void.

EXAMPLE if game is to start at 7:00 pm est. than no one sits until 7:00 pm est. or what ever time zone fits their format for tourney time.

This allows everyone a fair shot at getting a seat and game will start on time once seats are full. I don't know but something has to change and this is what I came up with it could work.

It would work if ev1 just opened the table and didn't hit the register button until I put a message in chat to do so.I wouldn't go so far as banning someone,at least not right away.4 people can sit without the puter starting to deal.Once 5 are sitting you have 90 seconds before it deals cards.This is what we want to prevent.It will probably take a coupla weeks before everyone gets this message.I'll start working on it for Wednesday's tournie.

hi gang, i come in early to get a seat. maybe if the table started dealing at 5 players and no players played until a full table it would work. that seems to be the problem. if every 1 waitedtill bower gave the ok . then we all would reg at the same click and some wouldnt make it in. als sugestion is good if possible ty jo23

I think the provider Geno uses doesn't offer multi table, maybe that will change in the future.

are the tourneys still on wednesdays?
I havn't played in awhile but it sounds like your getting a big crowd,that's great.

Yes Shirls.Most are on Wednesday.I will post when we have one on another day.
