ok... I just came from the new members post where I was re-reading the numbers provided by our Guru and sunspun...

I GOT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok... the only sad part is... it was wasted on a itty bitty freeroll ... but I GOT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hole: Q,A diamonds.

someone bets 20, someone else raises 20, I figure ok, I can land AA or QQ, worth it. so i call.

flop: K,10 diamonds, A clubs.

ok... I know I have no chance of getting one... but it looks really pretty anyway. And I've got AA.

someone bets100, someone raises100, I raise 200, that gets raised 400, that gets called I call. I'm open to the game at this point, just started, no biggie if I'm out fast.

the turn: J diamonds

ok, now i'm about to have a cow. i'm looking at the screen going, ok i don't know what was in those eggrolls but i'm hallucinating. there is no way, i have a royal flush sitting on my screen. i mean NO WAY. i'm so distracted by disbelief, that the bets and raises are going on and suddenly my screen is bleeping at me... someone had all inned. I just laughed. and clicked. I laughed, and laughed and laughed... as the other person all inned and now the three of us are sitting there all inned, and I'm staring a diamond ROYAL FLUSH down the throat. At this point, all I can do is laugh. basically, I've realized I am not hallucinating, that there is in fact a Diamond Royal Flush sitting on my screen and it's MINE. ok... I'm having to rely on a hazy memory, but I think the river was a 9 spades. I tried to hit the instant replay button, but it was too fast. Someone is laughing in chat, I think it was one of the lovely people I just ousted. saying vnh. All I can do is go "wow". they laughed again. I say... ok, I will never see that again. The next 30 minutes of this game is kinda fuzzy, lol. Up until the point that the hole lands me a KK. Someone raises a couple of hundred, I am like no way, this one is MINE. So I reraised, one person calls, it gets back to the first raiser... reraises me... so I raise him right back... and then all of a sudden, the person in between us, outraises BOTH of us. So, we are extremely committed at this point, and all in, both of us. well, he had KK too, lol... and the blasted person that out raised us, has A, 6... unsuited, OMG gimme a break here. so me and my KK chum are all in, so the cards just toss. the flop lands us nothing. like 3,5,10 or something. the turn is a J. and the friggin river is an ACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. ok..... I expect that my KK chum was about as ticked off as I was. But... all's fair in love and POKER eh. oh well, issall good. I had the hand of my life. So... I've been playing poker, specifically texas holdem about 5-6 weeks now. I've landed KKKK on hole and flop and now I've found my first royal flush. I'd say I'm a happy camper. I may never see it again, and if I don't I'll live... but for that brief moment in time, it was the most beautiful non breathing thing I've ever seen. They say diamonds are a girl's best friend... they had no idea, ROFL...

I'm still wondering what was in those eggrolls...

Way to go, TammyNC!!! How beautiful can a hand get??? TammyNC knows!!! I can't even remember the last time I saw one of those!!!

Besides, I just LOVE anything with a ROYAL in its name! LOL!!!

Seriously, girlfriend, I'm so happy for you! I do know the thrill of seeing one in your very own hot little hand!
