We all find occasion to reject and resist another person. We all like to put up a fight against anything we dislike on the evening news as we spectate the world. But we forget that when we decide we will resist something or somebody, either mentally or physically, we only empower the object of our resistance, either in reality or in our own minds. If you want to enjoy the ability to influence, always start with acceptance. If you want to disarm another begin with acceptance. If you want to encourage and empower another to change, start with acceptance. Don't make it conditional. Otherwise it's just resistance disguised as acceptance, and you are still trying to control them. And we can all smell a controller...can't you? |

Thank you rainbow1,
This rainbow moment is truly great advice.
May I take this opportunity to say thank you,
your rainbow moments have, over the past few months, helped me enormously.
They have given me guidance & inspiration, helped me to accept the things that have happenned to me recently,
moreover, to accept them in a righteous way that benefits all.
And also, your rainbow moments have not only helped me to deal with the torrent of emotions raging through my soul, but also to harness and control them, leaving my mind clear & free to deal with other matters that I'd otherwise never have dealt with.
For me, your Rainbow Moments have been my Mum, Dad and best friend rolled into one.
I don't care if I'm 'cheesey' or 'sickly sweet, your posts have been my rock.
I will be forever grateful to you rainbow1,
thank you
Alan |

By the way, I am now enjoying my little self once more and I'm more than happy with my situation right now.
See this great piece of advice I was given by my very dear and respected friend royalcrush, nee, royalblush at the time.
''By the way, I believe we live thru these things and come out much better and stronger as we grow and gain character as we begin to see what we lost as it really was instead of how we romanticized it to be.''
royalcrush, what can I say but, word for word, you were, and are 100% correct,
thank you also, so very much
