Dec. Design a PC Calendar CONTEST - NO WINNER!

My fledgeling poker pros-to-be!

I am so excited about this December contest! Not due until the very last day of the month. (Some are due Christmas Eve.)

For 2009, Poker-Crush needs its own calendar! To be put up in its own section of the forum and posted so it can be run off on paper by all members for their homes! The one on the site, I will be able to write things in, so the boxes for each day have to be big enough to give me room to write large enough that you can read it!

The reason we need a calendar is because we are getting soooo busy with different projects, poker tournaments, voting days, new event openings, and so on.

It would be nice to have a big picture on each month's page, just like real calendars - maybe something to do with poker, maybe not.

The Contest: DESIGN OUR CALENDAR! Use a ruler and be very neat! Use pictures you find or draw yourself! Or if not a picture on every month, then a "saying" on a few months!

Right now, I have to keep referring to the little old dingy calendar in my checkbook, because I post to you from everywhere in my travels on my laptop! In restaurants, hotels, casinos, airports, on planes, and everywhere! I have even posted to you right there at the poker table during a slow player's turn in a pro game!

Post below if you are going to enter this contest......and I hope EVERY member does and makes it fun!

Prize will be $30 .... not necessarily for the best one which we will use, but for anybody who enters and makes an honest effort to do your BEST!

Make it able to have a picture taken of it that you can post for us to see! Or that someone can post for you!

The rules are the same as for EVERY contest!

Well, my PCers,

I don't know what happened, but not a single member entered this contest and so I really could not justify to Da Big Boss paying out a prize, altho it breaks my heart.

I suspect everybody just got so busy with Christmas planning that you all missed it!

Anyway, we will just scratch this one. It wasn't really a very good contest anyway.

I am so sorry.

I didn't see this contest anywhere!! DARN! I think it is a fabulous idea! How about even if we don't have a contest over it I still think we should have a calendar!! WHAT a GREAT IDEA!! Especially for tourneys, member award nominations and voting and stuff!

It would be great to be able to open a calendar and at a glance remind ourselves what tourneys are going on and important dates for PC!!

PLEAAASE don't scratch the idea Guru!! Even though I missed the contest somehow I think we should keep the idea of the calendar!!!

This will be a $30 contest, starting NOW and not ending till the end of FEBRUARY to give everyone time to do a good job!

Wow, Valeria! That was fast! I didn't expect anyone to act that quickly!

And your calendar is just MAHVELOUS!!!

If I make a new announcement about the contest, would it be much trouble for you to move your calendar to that new contest string?

Not being a know it all but has anyone noticed Geno already has an event calendar listed next to Live Chat.Don't know if this is what you want Guru.

Yes, I am aware of that, Bower, and your answer is: NO! That is NOT what I want!

I would really like a MEMBER-designed calendar with some "extras" on it, like only our members can come up with! You included!
