In today's world there are many cities, where you can see riches and poor on same streets. Santa Monica , California for example. One time I was leaving Sturbuck with my latte coffee when homeless women asked to me give her my coffee...she didn`t ask for money...she ask me for my coffee !
I gave her $5 thinking she can buy her own coffee, but no ...she was upset and keep asking me for coffee again ! I had exactly $100 bill in my purse, I wasn't even consider to gave her that, I just rush back to Sturbucks and bought coffee for her :-) That was funny experience, but if you want my answer, I would never give a beggar $100 , most of those beggars would spend it on drugs probably anyway. |

First, I would find the rightful owner to that wallet, because I never carry 100's. The homeless person would be given the option to ride along. After locating my actual wallet, I would offer the person a hot meal and a shower. Then I'd give them a ride to wherever they wanted to go, a twenty spot, and my cell phone number for future reference. |

I love this contest. On a serious note, I think you can get a lot about a person by their answer to a question like this. & then there were a few posts that just cracked me up like the person who said they'd order a pizza and some wine to have right there on the sidewalk, & darrin6 here. This forum is full of great people. |

You said it, $teve!
That is why it is the second home for so many of us! I sure hope it is yours too, already!
Yes, the people just cannot be beat. You could close your eyes and toss a dart at a list of member names, and no matter whose name your dart landed on or closest to, you would have a great friend in that person.
These members grabbed my heart before I knew it had happened. Now they really are my second family!
By the way, (whisper, whisper) that is exactly the reason for this contest......to get to know one another better! Glad it is working!
Your PokerGuru |

I would stop and ask the baggar if he needed anything like food or medication, then I would buy it for him.....I would also give him some money for any personal items he might need! ![Thumbup](images/smiles/thumbup.gif) |

Well Poker Guru.....this is a toughie. I've struggled with this answer for over a week. You've added several factors that make it an interesting question. The main one being,I only have a $100 bill in my pocket. I'm doubtful that I would simply hand him $100. If I had smaller bills I wouldn't hesitate to give him $5 or $10, but I'm not handing over $100. I'm sure if I were handy to a fish and chips stand or a small cafe, then I'd offer him a meal. I'd love to be able to say that I would give him that $100 but I just wouldn't be being honest!!!
It would also have to be a case of this beggar being a true down on his luck person, and not a panhandler that is wearing $3000 worth of tattoes and is just too darn lazy to work.
I don't kow if this is the kind of answer you're looking for Guru, but it's an honest one!! ![Thumbup](images/smiles/thumbup.gif) |

Well im not the moost well off person myself, so I would find it hard seeing me with a 100 bill in my wallet at the best of times, so in answer to the question, no.
I would speak to them and see if there was anything else I could do, but IF I had a $100 dollar bill in my wallet then im afraid it stays put.......sorry |
