Guru started us out tonight with a health check. I am finally over the flu and Marlene's shoulder is still giving her grief.

The tentative date for the ribbon cutting is next Wednesday, December 3rd....time to be announced at a later date.

The OIFC $100 final is this coming Saturday. Good thinking to those who qualified in the event.

We held the final draws in the chat chips contest and here are the results:

This left a 3 way tie for the lead between:

Good job, as usual.

I'm glad you said "tentative" for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, because after rechecking Valeria's memos and posts, I discovered that we are nowhere near setting a date.

Here are the dates we have set so far:

NOMINATIONS: Last day is Dec. 5

VOTING: Dec. 6 until Dec. 25

Ribbon Cutting: Yet to be set up, after consulting with Valeria

Congratulations to all winners in Chat Contests in November!

I hope we have more members participating in December. It is not only fun as well as needed for our forum, but it is also profitable because of the Chat contests!!!

We will be so glad to hear that you are back home, safe and sound.

Lots of exciting tournaments are coming up - and we need you!

Hope you got a lot of rest and feel like a healthier girl! Your physical trials and triumphs are many and serious! We wish you strength!

With very bad colds and the flu and broken shoulders and operations and members on the road, you all keep your Guru in my worrying Father Rooster mode!

I will be giving thanks tomorrow for all of your health and safety and wellbeing........as well as for your sharp minds, fantastic learning abilities, and the money made by the best of you -- and the money TO BE MADE by those of you in your early learning stages - as well as the BIGGER money that will be made by you all as we all continue to improve and get more experience!

I will also give thanks for the success aand determination to stay alive of our beloved forum......and ask for guidance for us all as we strive to make our forum prosperous!

Our forum means so much in so many ways to so many good members. It is about so much more than poker alone, and I will ask for help in keeping it that way.

I will also give thanks for having a forum of the best poker players on the internet -- the best in every way! Not just in money-making ability, but in the class act role models they make for other online players!
