Cake Poker TPFC Open

Since the Guru has been very busy working his fingers to the bone, I thought I would stop by and post the OPEN TPFC games. I don't think I will get in trouble with TPFC, since PC does have a team now, and I am kinda/sorta "acting" as a good will mod/ambassador. Any ways all OPEN events are opened for everyone on a team to play.

BTW if I do not talk to much on the tables during the freeroll it is because I have registered to play in 4 games at Cake tonight.

PCers who want to play on the Poker Crush team ---- I'm sorry this is so late getting to you, but it was late getting to me too, from the administrator of The Poker Forum Challenge.

I tried.Had an A high flush and the other guy drew 3 Ks plus 1 in hole to put me out.Next time I guess.

Yes, Sable and All Team Members!

There will be plenty games coming up and I will try to keep you informed of them all!

However, you can just as easily check yourself by going to The Poker Forum Challenge and looking for any OPEN games. All members at TPFC are eligible to play in any open tournaments. (Just in case I am out of town when one is announced or if I miss one!)

LADY BEE! Did I hear you saying a few days ago that if I played in any of these, I would have to play with one eye closed? Wink

Well, dear lady, judging from the results of this one, may I suggest and request that you play from now on wearing a pirates eyemask, so you will also have one eye covered.....to give everybody else a chance? Razz

The fact is that she, also, is an excellent player, just like you........and she played an extremely good game last night with such good thinking because she was concentrating on absolutely nothing else....not even chat!

In any case, she deserves congratulations from us all for displaying such an amazing feat in a very hard turnament!

BY the way, the only tournaments we will be able to play in will be the OPEN ones......BUT JUST UNTIL WE GET 25 PEOPLE signed up at TPFC to be on Guru\'s Poker Crushers team.......whether they play or not! WE JUST NEED THAT MANY NAMES for YOU to be able to play in any game at all......even the games of other teams!!!

SO, GANG, WE HAVE TO START RECRUITING or we wont last very long again.......which would be a great disappointment!

WE CAN INVITE OTHER POKER FORUM TEAMS to our OWN freerolls and small buyins! But not quite yet!

First, we have to find 25 warm bodies to sign up as members of our poker team.....WHETHER THEY PLAY OR NOT!.....at:

The name of our team which they sign up for there......and it won't cost them a single cent.......is GURU\'s POKER CRUSHERS TEAM.

It would be a wonderful and loyal thing to do to help PC if other Crushers who don't play much poker would sign up anyway just to help us be able to have a team with full rights to send invitations to other teams! Think about it this way: They would be rewarded by allowing us to bring in more prize money for contests......even if all they play are the game contests here that Orange Crush runs or the easy contests that I run!

I do not think it would be too much to ask them to do to help out PC. After all, it is their forum, too! And Orangie is a member too!

Let me start at the bottom and work my way up.

Your team says HOME TEAM because when you registered your account at TPFC you did not pick a team. It's easy to change your team, just PM TPFC admin and request to be changed to Guru/PokerCrush. It will not take them long at all to change. Just keep in mind that if you have played in this month's qualifling freeroll or buyin game and earned a seat into today's final at Poker Nordica, your team will be changed after this months games have all played.

TPFC admin, will email everyone a copy of all open games that you may play. He will also email a copy of your monthly freeroll qualifier, as well as the monthly buyin qualifier. You will also get a reminder email on final freeroll day for those that qualified. If you miss your email, you can always log into TPFC website. Be sure to look for GURU'S/POKERCRUSH forum thread listed under the PASSWORD thread. The Admin always add the monthly game info with the password inside. Only TEAM members will be able to view that area. I can view and make post in the GURU'S/POKERCRUSH open chat area. You will find that further down the page, listed with all the other forum teams.

If any of yall need help in finding these spots, buzz me and I will walk you thur it.

OPEN TOURNAMENTS there are more open games this month for TPFC members. I'll have to check my forum for details, but I believe most are on Iron Duke Poker this month and maybe 1 or 2 at Poker Nordica.

Please do not get Nordic and Nordica mixed up. The other day I saw someone say they were in a banned state and could not play at Poker Nordica. Everyone can play at Poker NORDICA, it is on the Merge Network and Merge allows all states.

I only have 1 good eye as it is now!!!! How ever will I see my cards if I wear an eye mask? LOL All kidding aside, I feel that I did play a pretty good game in the freeroll. I made one error which cost me half my stack midway thur, my poc 10's couldn't beat her poc J's. After bombing out in the TPFC Buyin game I was more determined to at least place in the freeroll.

It will not take long to have 25 members on a team. I know there will be plenty of CCers willing to sign up and join too.

I'll try to drop by here every so often and see if anyone needs any help.

Oh cool! I was the banned state. I requested Geno to get an affiliate for Poker Nordica since everyone can play ... cool! I will have to wait to sign up till he does though.
