Anyone have any news lately about Royals mom? Haven't heard anything for awhile.

I will type out a full report as soon as I am able and have a bit of time.

For now, I can tell you this, after asking all of you to keep praying.

I am not giving up until Mom indicates clearly to me that she is ready to take that tiny step from where she is now , into Heaven with no pain and with peace.

However, with *** RUBBISH DETECTED - PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST **** IT WILL BE DELETED BY ADMIN LATER. called in for every system of her body now, they tell me -- I can hardly type it -- that my Mommy will never come home again. I keep thinking of my Dad, knowing he will never see her coming thru the door again. Our family has always been so close.

Mom's life is touch and go every day.

The docs all agree they have never seen such a fighter or such strength from one so frail. She has survived 2 more resuscitations.

They say that IF she should survive to leave the hospital, she will have to go to a rehab center or a nursing home because she will need around the clock medical care and will be able to do nothing on her own.

However, like I said, I will not give up as long as Mom does not.

Thank you all for all your thoughts, meditations, prayers, and whatever else you have offered -- and please don't stop now!

Thank you for your patience with me, also. You all mean so very much to me.

Right now, when I am not with her, I jump every time the phone rings, fearing someone will say she is gone.

Just a thought: when the censor grabbed the word s-p-e-c-i-a-l-i-s-t-s, after Royal's experiences with them, I don't blame the censor.

I want to give you a bit more info I learned over the phone with Royal......

When the heart s-p-c-i-a-l-i-s-t suggested adding a new medicine, the Cherokee Shaman said "NO! IT WILL MAKE OTHER PARTS OF HER BODY VERY, VERY SICK!"

The family made the decision to go with the long proven methods of the Shaman, but the doctors secretly ignored them and gave her the medicine. The next day, she had to be put on a ventilator and a food tube.

Native American Shamans require 20 years of apprenticeship learning and training; regular doctors about 8 years.

Shamans recognize a whole 'nother body system besides the usual ones, which regular doctors cannot even see.

Regular doctor's medicines are made from the same ingredients the Shamans use as PART of their treatment, but Shamans use the real and natural ingredients which they have studied from seed to full-grown plant.

I could go on and on, since I have learned so much from Royal, but I just want you to be sure that Shamans are not some kind of "witch doctor" but are very sophisticated men and women of medicine who use methods proven for thousands of years PLUS a spiritual element added.

I would think the family could sue the doctors! If they said NO they don't want the medicine then the doctors should have abided by the families decision!! That is wrong!

Valeria, I agree entirely with you!

It was a matter of pure and simple predjudice ( which Royal told me the last time her mother was so sick) against the Cherokee people in the area where Royal lives -- the mountains a little north of the Cherokee Reservation.

Knowing Royal's state of mind at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if that hospital found themselves embarrassed on national news with headlines something like "Full Cherokee Nation Descends upon Hospital in Protest".

The only good thing about that, however, would be quite a sight for you all to see on TV that I saw last year in person.......Royal and her fellow Shamans in their full formal regalia and make-up.

After spending a full week with Royal's family last year, I did not know her.....did not recognize her at all.....when she performed the public part of a healing ceremony for her mother back then. Quite impressive!

They are a very strong people, deserving great respect.

Knowing your concern, I just had to add this.......and hope that Royal will not mind. I have great respect for her and would not purposely betray her privacy for any reason.
