Ahhhhh, Your Guru is Back!

Ahhhhh, I just sank down into the chair at my desk in the best room in my house....my Poker-Crush Room! My step may have been a little slower; my suntan is faded; I think I saw a wrinkle or two around my eyes when I passed by the wall mirror; and I am still in my robe. But none of that matters. I have had this house a shorter time than I have been with Poker-Crush, and as I sat down here, I knew this house had become a home!

I have found my niche in life. The best of the two best worlds: the world of Poker and the world of Poker-Crush. Many people my age, considered middle age I guess, have still not discovered where they belong. I am a lucky man. When my PCers embraced me with that warm welcome, served family-style, I knew this was it. For my peace of mind and my settled happiness, I thank you sincerely, my Poker Crushers. You have made my life complete....and I never realized it more than I did while illness kept me away from you.

But now I am back and the first thing I want to tell you is something you would not be human if you did not want to know. That is this....I intend to make up to you this very month of January the cash prize contests I missed giving you in December and also easier and more valuable ones than those I screwed up in November while I was becoming ill without knowing why I felt so bad. Don't ever get a flu vaccine after you have already been in close contact with someone who has it! Not unless you wait at least two or three weeks after.

Also, my January contests will be equally easy and rewarding. What I am telling you is that since we will, in all fairness, be doing November's over, making them not so hard, plus December's and January's, at least nine of you will be winning $30 Neteller cash and many more of you will be winning substantial amounts of PC points, needed to trade in for cash in future contests.

But more about that, as well as the first batch of contests, tomorrow.

First, we must simply gab awhile.... gossip, rumors, catching up, and the whole works.

I understand that you had quite an adventure with our "tormenter", also known as our "stalker" while I was gone. I quickly glanced through your brilliant and loyal defense posts back at him in support of your leader. When I read the answering fires you shot back at him that sent him scampering, I knew he didn't stand a chance of disrupting and destroying Poker-Crush! I shed a tear or two over your unwavering protection of one of your own and your heart-touching loyalty to the site and me. Then I had to laugh out loud. Taking me on is one thing, but trying to take on my intelligent, good-humored, and witty members is another thing altogether!

He may have thought that while I was sick and away, it would be a good time to kick me. Instead it was the worst possible time. You all did a far better job of handling him than I ever could! You must know how thankful I am to you. We are all poker players, as he only tries to be, and we are accustomed to being harrassed. I grew used to it a long time ago. Not long after I found myself surprisingly having a few fans, I realized you have to take the hate mail along with the fan mail. It's a small price to pay for what we have built together here. That is the way I see it.

I also love the idea of having a different one of you as my alter-ego each month. I would be highly honored to be represented by any one of you! I must add that Royal did a remarkable job of it! I got quite a kick out of that.

Now to get serious again.

Both Geno and Orange Crush have been very busy, working on the requests I had submitted to them for you. So you have a whole lot of pleasant surprises coming and coming soon!

Many new arcade games, as you requested, for one. Also, Geno put on his coding pants and gave me a genius hand in creating the long-promised crossword puzzle. Coming very soon now for sure.

And Orange Crush is busy setting up special freeroll tournaments for us that won't cost you a cent but which you can win real money in. We are both also contacting many poker sites to negotiate special deals for PCers only!

Also, I obtained permission from Geno to increase the number of PC points I can issue to you, so they will no longer be so hard to build up.

Also, since our PC Poker Team is soon to be born, I have been composing some serious and important poker lessons to make sure you keep getting better and better. I had plenty of time while recovering to think about all my tricks that so far nobody knows, but my PCers are about to learn. It has not gone unnoticed by me that all I have to do is put it out there and you will have it absorbed and mastered in no time! So get prepared to start making more money and having more fun doing it!

Our first big freeroll that Orange Crush has worked so hard to set up for us will be on the 16th of this month!

I will fill you in on all the details of that by tomorrow. Will also put a few contests out there for you, hopefully by tomorrow as well.

I'm sure I have forgotten more than half of all I wanted to tell you in this post, but don't worry. I may not be the speediest but I am the determinedest when it comes to my PCers, and I'm not going anywhere! After the dedication you have returned to me, I am here to stay! And you know me. I tell it ALL!

Thank goodness you are back and sounding ALMOST like your old self again! I say "almost" because I noticed no teasing of anybody in your post. We are kinda used to that. I'm sure it will take you a little while to get back up to your full speed. Like my mama told me and like I told OC after she was out sick, don't push yourself too hard and bring on a "backset", which is always worse than the first set!

I thank you for the compliment of pretending to be you "remarkably well", but actually I was doing just the opposite! That was our Mojo's idea.

In fact, when Geno posted that if I wanted to be the Guru, I would have had to have a gender change, well ------ If it had not been GENO and if he was not talking about YOU, then my reply would have been something like this:

Please do as the Royal one said and take it easy. You've been down for a long time and over doing it will set you back even further. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we'd rather have you back part time then to be gone again!
