The FBI men holding Santa where awe-struck, forgetting where they were and what they were doing for the moment, flew themselves to the floor and started kissing maws boots.

With everyone staring at maw and the groveling FBI men nobody was paying attention to Santa.

When they came to their senses Santa had disappeared!

Nobody saw him leave. Had something perilous happened to him, or did he magically escape?

Everyone looked and searched but could not see hide nor hair of him.

OC seemed extremely calm about the whole thing. Maybe she knew something the others did not.
