Good Morning, Group!
My day is starting with a smile. 
I just noticed that as of this bright morning, our membership equals 975. Just think! Only 25 more to be an even 1000.
And only a little more effort from me to inspire a whole lot of the 975,,,,, more of the 975......to start being active.
A lot of them signed up when we were just getting started and didn't even have contests yet, much less money contests! Or anything else interesting to do here. We didn't even have any GAMES to play!
So how are they to know how much we have changed? That is my problem. If any of you great and loyal members who have stuck it out with me have any ideas, please advise me!!!! I am serious!
Meantime, back here at the ranch, you all have posted thirteen thousand six hundred and 7 articles!!!
You have started one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two new threads!
NOW do you see another one of the many reasons I am so proud of you?
Together we will build an empire of a forum! If we set our minds to it, take on the challenge, and JUST DO IT! Just like you are learning more and more about poker! And just to see if we can ....if we are really that good!!! Just to see how much money we can bring in - how much prize money we can build up! I mean, when there were only 50 of us, we didn't think we could ever build enough of a new forum to have cash prizes!!!!! to have 2 or 3 hundred members!!!! It sounded impossible!
Wow, I am getting too fired up and wanting too bad to HUG YOU ALL! So I had better just simmer down.
Just wanted to share that little landmark with you who are responsible for it!!!

The big 1000 is approaching. So how about a contest guessing the closest date when we reach 1000?
My guess would be to send out an email to all previous PC members inviting them back to look over our site and see all the new features! They should have email addresses in their profiles. Type up one letter and zap it off to all PC'ers. I wouoldn't mind getting one if it would be easier to just send it to all PC'ers instead of picking and choosing e-mail addies. |

I was thinking the same valeria.........yep, that is a good idea
you could even have a contest only for the people who return? that would give them an incentive to enter and check out the rest of the site |

I think it would be a good idea for the 1000th member be given something special.Maybe a PC Tshirt.Their gratefulness may bring in a few more members too. |

A huge milestone! I agree with Bower, the 1000th member should get a big to-do. I think the email idea is good too, let everyone know how fanastic this forum is now. (not to say that it wasn't then but I'm sure it's changed alot). Get some of those earlier members back here to have a look around. |

Terrific.....the way you PCer heros of mine pitch in to keep building our forum -- and building it right! With class! I have a feeling you would pitch in to save it too if danger should threaten! After all, it's our Baby!
A PC T-shirt and a big to-do for the 1000th member? Consider it done!

I also think as some of the contest winners a tee shirt would be a very nice prize as the real pcers would be proud to wear a poker crush tee shirt around...I sure would.... |
