GURU SPEAKS OF ROYAL and ROYALTY

My dear PCers - my flock and my friends,

With a heavy heart I ask your forgiveness for my absence this past week. I have been with the family of one of you who lost the one she held dearest - her precious Mother. Our Royal - your dear Royal and my dear friend - because of her heritage, has had more to bear than most at the time of such a loss.

She had responsibilities and duties to perform in both of her communities, the mountain Caucasians and the valley Native Americans, both who expected much of the firstborn of the departed. She was responsible for caring for the many who loved her Mother and had duties and rites to perform for those who held her Mother in such high esteem. She carried out those duties with more strength than I shall ever possess, nor will many.

Altho her hurt and loss was the greatest, she performed her assigned rites without a soul ever seeing a single tear from her eyes. I have gained a new understanding and respect for what it must take to be in her shoes and to hold the position she fulfills so grandly among her people. She is respected and beloved by so many, among them. of course, you and I as well.

I saw a whole new Royal and it has made me treasure her friendship even more, and realize how fortunate anyone is to have it.

We are truly honored, Crushers, to have such an unusual and stately one among us, who herself does not even realize the difference between herself and the massive number of her people who depend upon her for so much.

I would not be in the least surprised to see her back on the job at CC at any time now, even tho she buried her precious Mother just today.

Now I understand why she shows all such kindness. She knows no other way, having been taught as her Mother, The Shaman's, firstborn.

I, myself, am honored to be back among you and hope to get things caught up as quickly as possible. I ask you for even more patience with me and promise my best.

guru there is no way you should be asking forgiveness for not being here and spending time with a friend who needed you.... at times like this there are many more important things than being here....my best wishes are with royal as she is indeed a gret woman whom i respect

Guru,we all knew you were with a our very dear friend at her time of need.We respect you even more for being where needed.Royal needed you and you were there,no forgiveness needed.Royal is an awesome lady just as her reveered mother was.Take all the time you need friends.

Dearest Guru, I suspected and hoped for as much. I wish I could have been there as well. Thank you for letting us all know that Bobbie is holding up as well as she can be. I have been very worried about her this week. with hugs, Nana

I also have been so very worried about Royal as my heart hurts for her and Guru she is a fighter but I know sometimes it seems you just cant fight but then that burst of fighting comes back and life starts slowly going back to normal as thats how I felt when I lost my dad years ago and I just cringe and know I will lose it the day I lose my mother and I hate each one of her birthdays as I know it takes another year of her as she is 74 altho I did have a awesome time in mexico with both her and her hubby of 1 yyear which is almost 81 so I cant imagine what Royal must be feeling but she is a tough one,thats for sure.
