You know what ALW? I think every male who plays poker should try being a woman for a week playing poker. Just so you can see how the other half lives and what we have to put up with DAILY.

I am not saying all male poker players are like this.. A small percent of them but I always seem to find them at the tables I am playing lol. It can be upsetting if you let it but as everywhere else, you need to ignore or - my best friend EVER- the MUTE button! LOL

Sorry for two posts on same subject but I was previewing and hit submit by accident lol I am getting rel clutzy lately hitting wrong buttons.

Anyway, we are there to play poker and have fun just like all the males are.. well most of them.

But we have to listen to what big boobs we have, what they would like to do with our private parts, all the bad insulting slang words regarding a woman if we happen to make the mistake of beating them in a hand of poker.

It can almost become surreal with what these guys come up with.
And some of the women are no better - the language! Unless they are men too hahahahahaha No, I know there are some women like that. Real toughies and foul mouthed.

It would be nice if one day I could play poker and concentrate more on the game instead of the mute button Razz

But it isn't going to stop me playing poker or kicking their butts .. I just get more of a thrill kicking said bigmouths out of the game. ROFL

Hi Valeria, please don't worry about the abuse you get. It is something you can use to your advantage. I know this sounds totally crazy, but you should be thanking them for the attention, because just like in any sport, it is a kind of backhanded compliment. You get the attention, because you are a threat. The more of a threat you are, the more attention you get.
The worst thing you can do, is to try and seek revenge by taking his chips, but if you bide your time, and play the table, not the player, eventually, due to his lack of concentration, someone will take his chips, and occasionally, that someone will be you, and boy, is that a sweet moment.
As for the sexual abuse, report them instantly, and everytime it happens, because if they do it to you, they'll do it to others, and eventually occur so many complaints that they'll have to be banned.
Good luck and remember, the opponents fans at sports games only abuse the best players

Val also pmed me to apoligise for this post and I feel theres no reason to Val.I go thru alot of verbal abuse by the men players and alot that night and let me tell you ...There is nothing more satisfiying then taking them out as I was doing lol.That is more satisfying then ever verbally argueing back with them just to take them out and say gg lol.Therefore your post here was just fine Val Very Happy
