GURU REPORTS ON MISSING ROYALBLUSH
Hello, my dear PCers!
This time I report on my latest absence for a few days, I know for sure that you will forgive me when I tell you what I have been doing.
I was very late in discovering that Royalblush's elderly mother was in critical condition in Intensive Care with congestive heart failure and pneumonia.
Since I was in an adjoining state to Royal's, just having finished a big poker game, I felt it would be okay for me to call Royalblush, our good member, since she is now also a Crush employee at CC as RoyalCrush, and therefore a colleague of mine. I asked if there was anything at all I could do to help, since I had some time on my hands between games.
Royal's frst comment on the phone was to ask about PC and all members here. After assuring her that you could survive quite well, in fact VERY well, without me for a few days, Royal admitted to me that she could use some moral support. The news she had just received from the doctors had led her to believe that she might very well be losing her dear mother.
I asked for her home address, told her where I was, and told her I would be there as soon as I could, even if I had nothing more to offer than a broad shoulder to cry on.
I will interrupt myself at this point to give you the good news that Royal's Mom seems to have made it through the worst of the crisis and the doctors may have been ready to give up on her a little too soon. She is now doing much better, altho still not breathing on her own without oxygen.
Now I am by far no doctor, but I AM a betting man, and my bet now is that Royalblush will be back soon to tell us that her Mom has made a full recovery! After meeting that family and that very ill but very courageous lady, as well as Royal herself, it is very easy for me to make that bet. I could write a novel on just what I learned duing my short stay with them. Royal's family is no ordinary family, just as Royal is no ordinary person.
I was totally not prepared for what I found when I visited! The first thing to impress me was the grandeur of Royalblush's estate. I truly felt as if I were visiting royalty.....and I was. The grandeur of the estate was nothing compared to the grandeur of her family members.
I have never before been welcomed quite as warmly, generously, and graciously as I was there. Even in a time of one of the worst crises any of us ever faces, no possible need I could have was overlooked. In less than hours, I already felt like a member of the family. And it was easy to see that I was merely receiving the same kind of treatment they offered everyone, no matter who or when. No one could be more comfortable or feel quite as luxurious as I did there during my visit. In spite of the circumstances, it was a grand experience that I shall never forget. One that I wish every Crusher could have.
After I discuss it with Royal, at a more appropriate time, I will ask her permission to give you all my impressions of her home and family. Until then, I imagine I have made my point......and that is why I truly believe this has been one medical crises that, although filled with tears, will have a happy ending!
A few more days should give us the final outcome and Royal can report to you herself.
Now I must get back to my appointed tasks and obtain and post the winners of August's contests. Then I will type and submit to you the next lesson on making money enough to live on by playing online poker. I wrote the article out in longhand while visiting Royal, when I was alone in my assigned beautiful suite at her house. So all I have to do is type it on this keyboard and post it!
First, however, the contests, and that is where I am headed at this very moment.
The very best to you from

Dear Mojo,
Your post to Royal was very touching and very kind of you. I will make sure to draw it to her attention and I know she will appreciate it greatly.
I'm so sorry to hear about your father. When our parents are very ill, I think it becomes the scariest and worst times of our lives.
I will be thinking about you and wishing the best for your father constantly.
I am not a church-going man, but I AM a praying man, having many long talks with our Creator. I will keep both you and your father in my prayers.
My very best to you, Mojo. PC would not be the same without our Mojo!
