Ok I have to tell you about this game last night!

Ok I have to tell this story LOL

I haven't been able to sleep last couple nights for some reason and about 2am I decided to play a little CD Poker for about an hour. So I am sitting there playing for awhile at a .50/1 10 player table $100 max enter (fun money) maybe 6 or 7 people there at the moment. I was holding my own and up to $279 or so.. I decided I would play one more hand then head to bed.

The cards were dealt. I was big blind so no big deal I thought. I got a 5 of clubs and a 6 of spades. So I checked. The flop is dealt and it is a 3 of clubs, a Queen of hearts, and a 4 of spades. I needed a 2 or a 7 for a straight. Now this was my last hand of the night so I thought ok I will play this through and then go to bed.

Well the betting starts. $1 is laid down, call, call, call, raise a $1 call call call raise etc. I just kept on calling. Welllllll this went ON AND ON AND ON!!! We are talking $1 and $2 raises.. Nobody does a $5 or $10 or $25 to show they are really serious. This went on about 25 times around the table and finally I said... "Let's play already!" but no they went another 3 rounds of $1 raising. It was like playing against Zombie Robots!! So totally frustrated and BORED by this time I thought ok make them Put Up or Shut UP and I went all in for $214 LOL (I know a stupid move but I wanted to see this hand to the end) Well much to my surprise the called me and did another 5, 6, 7 or 10 rounds of $1 betting and raising. FINALLY the turn! An Ace of Hearts. I thought ok these guys have to have pocket queens or maybe 2 pair or are going for a heart flush or trying for a straight like me etc. (as the $1 betting and raising goes on and on and on) but I am committed so I sit there.

I am so bored and frustrated by now all I want is the game to end whether I win or lose I didn't care at this point. To tell you how flabbergasted I was I don't even KNOW what the river card was! LOL I was sitting there in a daze looking at all this money at the table and suddenly the pile of it moved in front of me. I won a $1342 POT!!! I said .. THANK YOU! and got up and left!!! ROFL I could just see these guys sitting there hanging their mouths open wondering what just happened.. and then calling me a few choice words hahahahahahahhahahhah I have NO CLUE what these guys were betting on! So I turned off the computer and laughed all the way to my bed. I was still chuckling after my head hit the pillow...

Ya had to have been there ROFL!!!!!!

WTG, lol sounds like a couple of my late night runs. Always fun when it happens that way, but I would definitely say, only play that way on "fun money", hehe.
